I don't think I can - my floor actually 'floats' over the foundation, which is uneven. And I'm in a tectonically active place with enough creep to make sealing probably a Bad Idea. So that wee bit of give is necessary.

We'll see how it goes. A piece we soaked before resolved reasonably well - but this is a bit bigger than that was.
