I was really done with the alcohol. I mean, the bottle of Black Muscat on Sunday, the Organic sake on Monday...and I killed the rest of the Noveau Beaujolais from the holidays last night.
TASTY. But.
I now have to get the whiskey...and the damn fruity-as-hell flavored rum down tonight.
Two fine gentlemen have left the building...after very long runs, and their rest is well-deserved.
Patrick McGoohan, who showed EVERYONE how the spy biz is really done, at 80 -
And a dear, sweet neighbor who suffered so many years with the lingering effects of a back injury that eventually put him in a wheelchair at the end. (Didn't know that, did ya?) Lot of years. Lots of cheese. Always a class act - kind, gentle and don't mess.
Richardo Montalban, of course. 88. That's plenty.
