Ugh.
No, it's not the roof. No, it's not the water main. No, it's not the bathroom pipes.
It's the feeder line to the icemaker on the refrigerator. Somewhere within the last few weeks, it began leaking. And since it was under a ton of CRAP - nobody saw.
So I have wet floors. In the kitchen, under the pergo. Those who have this type of floor know what I have this morning. Yeah. It looks like lasagna noodles. We'll see what time and drying out will do for it. This stuff is supposed to be good for twenty years. Just don't get it wet.
The kid's bedroom is soaked. I've called the carpet cleaner - he says he can be here tonight.
Last night, the smoke detector battery decided that was a great time to die. So I had PEEP PEEP PEEP all night.
Last night is FIRED. Today is on probation.
