amen to that. people become so controlling over people they don't even know. here's a novel idea - try living your OWN life and let them live theirs, k? i've made my family well aware that i'm an organ donor and i don't want to "live" as a vegetable. pull the plug. i told rick that should he go against my wishes, because i designated him in my living will as my medical power of attorney, that i will come back and make his life hell :) i still think it's wrong that in some states, like ohio, that families can override such things as a person's decision to be an organ donor. thankfully i know my parents wouldn't because they are organ donors themselves and believe in letting go.
