It's illegal to use electronic means to proposition teens but legal to have sex with them. I think we need a little work on that inconsistancy. I could see it being legal for 16 yr olds to have sex with each other, but not with somebody old enough to be their father. Or maybe their parents could just keep an eye on them and know what they are up to like my parents did. My parents always knew where I was. They called to check up on me and worked hard to keep me safe from predators. They treated parenting like hard work instead of just a thing they could shrug off.
