I'm not good at balancing my checkbook.


What I do instead is look about twice a week at all the balances on-line and make sure I don't spend more than what I have. I always have a rough idea about how much I have in the bank at all times anyway.


I also pay my bills twice a month to help avoid being late with a bill.
