Oh man.

So you can re-route comments and things (even things under lock) to Facebook.

Just what I need.

So in addition to the myriad OMG A GAME SCORZ I now have to deal with everyone's idea of what's an Important Moment. Except, maybe - not so much and what the hell is that doing hanging out thar and put it away Right Now.

Please don't cross post me to Facebook. I won't if you won't.

And LJ? Get a clue. Thanks.

If you are worried about seeing too much on the FB side, you should be able to hide that application. (and you needn't worry about me--only my public posts -- stuff that would be on the RSS feed -- should go to facebook. No comments.)

Do not like.

the ZOMG FLOCKED POSTS ON FB thing that everyone is going on about is really no big deal. It's nothing that couldn't be done before with some copypasta. In fact, for locked stuff, you have to explicitly check the checkbox.

I think that people are just blowing this all out of proportion. LJ is not in control of your friends who think this is a good idea. In my opinion, it's a good way to increase the value of LJ, and branch out into a new market.

My prediction is that LJ may eventually be completely converted to a facebook application anyway, and this integration is the first step.

Paid users can add custom CSS to hide elements.

When looking in my account I noticed this is an opt-in feature. I have all the twitter and facebook linking disabled.

Done. Better than nothing, I guess....
