Well, that tears it -

Jim's got the bug now. Sore throat, fever and just all-around unpleasantness.

I'm about 75-80%. Going back to work tomorrow.

This is the sound of me cancelling all New Year's plans. Except for the ones I can do by myself.

Bah. Bah, I say.

*sigh*

Poor Jim.

Sorry...

Sorry to hear all are getting sick, so I'll keep my distance. I know I'll eventually get it but until then I'll try to avoid contact. Take care and get well.

The bug has made national news, from what I'm told. Doesn't matter what the vector was - chances are, we both got exposed at work. Everyone is sick right now. I'm one of the first to come back where I am!

I'm trying to 'recover' a bit right now, sitting at home. I was so tired that I just turned around this morning and called in. Slept most of the day but had to get up to put some food in me. Yes, I suspect an airborne vector, and it seems to be everywhere.

Hate to hear that, yes.

But your health comes first.

And we can make plans to get shoes later.

Even if you feel better, quiet time alone on the holidays has its place too. SOme of my fave New years were spent with myself and my missus.
