Been to Baycon, on the fringes. Back in 1996, I came up and did an AnimeAmerica con (back back before AX), and we shared staff and materials (Hospitality was using all of Baycon's stored cookware, for example) with them.

Not to misuse the "swinging the dead cat" analogy, but you can't travel in any kind of fannish circle in the Bay Area and not know about Baycon.
