Then again -

There's another meme running around (March is Ask Me Anything Month, I hear) - that basically asks me to offer up discussion on any topic I normally don't blog on.

...

Uh. Guys? If I can talk about it safely, I have. At random, without hesitation. Ask [livejournal.com profile] silverkun, whose breakfast I ruined with discussion over sushi from places with a B health code rating this morning. Munching my own breakfast at the time, mind.

I'm afraid it's just something that doesn't register. Nothing ever waited for me to catch my breath or finish my PBJ - and somewhere in the mess, I never cared either.

But if you've got something - hand it over. I'll give it a go.

Sounds familiar - hell, between [livejournal.com profile] gridlore's life as a cancer survivor and [livejournal.com profile] dafydd's history as an EMT/firefighter/etc., I'm amazed the three of us never got kicked out of anywhere over what we considered appropriate mealtime conversation.

I've noticed some folks have a peculiar inclination to tell gruesome stories when a particularly toothsome dessert is lofting into view. This bad habit tends to cause other people to not eat all of theirs, and eventually they offer it to the teller of that grody story, as the only one with an appetite left at the table. "DO you want the rest of my pie?"
Hmm.
Funny how these bad habits can get reinforced.

I love talking about health violations. I have a strong stomach. To prove it, the last time I puked was about a year or so ago, I think.
