Chesley Sullenberger III. What a name - I understand they call him Sully.

Would someone please find this guy a job in the FAA - or TSA - or any other alphabet soup agency that will have him?

Information that I've seen suggested that he's been an accident investigator and similar things during his career. I suspect that he will be tapped for some good things, and soon...

That's the photo on his consulting website which also has his impressive resume.

He even looks the part of a serious pilot. My instinct tells me he's very nice in real life also, but perhaps a bit fussy about things being just so.

The local news did a piece on him today citing not only his qualifications as an aviator, but his participation in the local community (he lives in my area- I've probably flown over his neighborhood a few times).
