I'm staying up to call a vendor in Germany tonight. Boss finally had enough with trying to go back and forth on email - first time in a long time that he's had anything to really be upset with me about.

I've only been trying to get one document tested for all of this year. The last test, I had to wait twelve days for a reply. Normally, one would expect something within 48 hours. Uh uh. Not these guys.

Goobers. It's not been a good day.

Oh. Chocolate Peppermint Stick Luna bars are almost as good as peppermint whores. Just wanted you to know.

And another thing?

Adoption lamp is out. They're all placed (assuming the vet wants Aeka). Goku got his placement today.

Now, to get through August. Whee.

If I had the software on this box, I'd do up a cheezy-ass fireworks display to celebrate. Sparkly with silver bits and lots of colors. Very cinematic.

I won't be offended if they don't - truly. It makes it easier for us to keep track of them, and that's about it.

Miss them? Oh, a bit. But the satisfaction of knowing they're in forever homes - that's just the icing. That's that I'll feel most of all.

I really am stunned and happy that you got em all placed! WOW! I now have THREE cats because I could not find someone who wanted an overwieght sweetie of undetermined age, but once I had her shaved into a "lioncut" she looked like a Dr Suess character so I didn't mind much... Rather woulda had a kitten though...

As I've been saying, when they've all gone to their homes by September, then I'll take a deep breath.

Aeka is still on the bubble - but we now have two candidates for her, so it's pretty much a sure thing.

Just got to get them raised up a bit - that's all.

Yeah but thats the FUN part! Suprise toe biting in the middle of the night and the kitten tumbles.... I should rent myself out for kitten rearing to the 8th week or so, nothing like an armful of attitudes!

Hooray for the kitties' new homes! We can't wait to meet our two. They'll hang out in the upstairs bathroom (the one we most often use) at first, in their own space, and gradually be introduced to everybody else, one critter at a time, as they feel comfortable. I expect the biggest hurdle is going to be Jasmine hissing at them. The dogs are all cat-friendly and Taz will probably be terribly disappointed when they don't take to him right away, but he'll give them the patience they need. (We've been through it before, most recently in December with Tom and Huck.)

What are peppermint whores? I've never heard of them, and I adore peppermint.
