Heh. I'm still getting "Mommy, I want you to wipe my butt!" The best parts include him putting everything but the flour in the hopper of the breadmaker, fresh-out-of-the-bath hugs, just-in-from-muddy-yard hugs, and "Mommy! Look! A bad guy!" when I'm playing City of Heroes.

Of course, there are the admonishments of "Don't put your feet on the wall!" "Sit down and eat!" "Where are your pants?!" "You did not just put (item) in (slightly larger item), did you?!" "Get that out of your mouth!" "Don't eat those (chips/cookies) that you find on the floor!" "Stop sucking on your shirt..." "Stop slapping the car window!" "Leave the batteries alone..." "Stop licking the cat, before he makes you stop licking him..." and so forth...

I spent the first year of Peo's life having to remind myself to not splurge on everything and spoil her. A lot of people who have to go through a lot to get a kid feel that way.

BTW, here's one for the future that'll make you giddy:

"Mommy, can I help you make the cookies?"
