Well, we've got one.
Ai-chan is at the vet today getting worked up. My diva kitty deluxe, it appears she's stopped eating much of anything, has dropped weight dramatically in the last week and I'm not happy with her activity levels.
I predict psych drugs for my cat - at best. If she hasn't completely borked herself with major organ damage with the fasting.
Poor kitty - at least I didn't rehome her when she did what kitties do with small children (ie, small scratch, leave me alone kid).
The rest of the kitties have been studies in cooperation and getting along. Rei even helps me put the kid to bed at night (which is NOT appreciated by kiddo - what's THAT doing on my bed?!), and if she's not allowed to check on him, she curls up by the toybox until he's asleep and that job is done. That's my mama kitty, all right.
Now, if the diva could just deal. *eyeroll* My cat's gonna be on Valium.

Date: 2009-04-14 06:19 pm (UTC)Boris the orange cat is not diva level crazy about changes, but he can get pretty hystrionic (not eating and generally puking for two days after the grey one came home, meows at new air conditioning because its sound "displeases" him), but he never stopped eating to the point of making himself sick. Cats go on "hunger strikes" but know their limits, most of the time. If your kitty didn't, that suggests that something else was wrong.
