Date: 2009-10-27 05:46 pm (UTC)Check and see if your PBS carries "The Biscuit Brothers". It's an Austin-based show that's available in some other markets, and it's awesome-tastic. The basic premise is that the brothers work on a magical music farm where they grow instruments, melodies, etc. And it's Old MacDonald's farm, whereby the EIEIO stands for the Environmental Institute for Every Instrument in the Orchestra. :D
It's the show Corran and I like to watch with Peo more than any other. It's cheeky and irreverent with lots of geeky jokes, it's fun and accessible for various ages (their local concerts attract infants to preteens), and it's just all-around awesome.
