I have a bunch of people on my friends list. A lot of communities - and they generate a lot of copy, lemme tellya.

However.

When varna and trcabbage don't post for long periods of time...I worry. Know you don't mean to, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Just when I get a garden, too.

Had my first contractor glitch this morning - if we aren't ready to paint this weekend, the painter won't be available until after Memorial Day. A week or more after. Bah. Wiring isn't done and won't be done until a week from this Saturday at best estimate. So now we have to find another painter. Bah twice. Grr for good measure. And kiss the Memorial Day weekend goodbye - we won't be moving then. *deep sigh* Oh well. People will be back from cons then. That should be okay....

I should have more of an idea tomorrow...bought kitchen appliances this morning - what a trip. Everything seems so huge. Used to be, you bought a pot - now I'm buying the entire kitchen, Weird ass stuff, I tell ya.

I realized yesterday that I haven't lived anywhere with a backyard since I left home at 19. I'm totally weirded out.

I now have a big enough house to have kids. And I'm 42. Oh, well. Cross that bridge in a month or so.

Got to see what was under the lavender and lime-green paint. Peach. AUGH!

Didn't these people ever hear of Navajo White?!

...my younger daughter was born when I was 38; my younger son and youngest child was born 2 months before my 43rd b'day. One of the women in my Lamaze class was having her first child at 45. My friend had twin sons (through in-vitro) at 45. Age is just a number. (not that i'm trying to persuade you or anything - just trying to put your mind at ease, so you can make whatever decision you make with one less thing to distract you.)
