Two folks I don't think you knew -

burriko was a happy-go-lucky anime nut with heading off to college angst - but incredibly sweet.

ladybd was darthneko's SO - but it appears they have parted company, and now she's gone, entire. Pity. She had real spunk.

Is there an LJ meet planned at Fanime, by chance?

I know some people delete their journals and start over, or even maintain multiple journals. I find it tough enough to keep up with one identity! I've only had one lj friend disappear like that, but it was due to tragic circumstances in her life, so I knew why she had gone. I'd find it disconcerting if someone on my friends' list just disappeared - being me, I'd worry about them, which is probably naive, but oh well...
