kyburgIt poured driving on the 91 yesterday to Hemet. Ditto while Mom, her best friend and I were having lunch.
Dry when I got home. That's just the luck.
But I found her a nice orchid at the 99 Ranch Market for her birthday, and got prints made of that family portrait her cousin lent us back in November, plus a nice card - and lunch was delish.
A nice, quiet 80th birthday for Mom.
I sure hope next year is bigger for her. She deserves it.
