Tired and Cranky

( In which I find myself without power and surrounded by fallen trees )

( And then we try to go to work )

( But we were on the phone last night with family and mommy angst )

And I'm tired. I didn't sleep well at all, I've been on edge too much the last week and I'm female. Leave it at that.

I'm thinking about the new house and what I'd like to do, what I'll have to do and what I want to do...and wondering how it all will be. I've been in this place almost as long as I was in the house I grew up in - and it's burned down twice and been rebuilt a different place each time.

But it was less than 15 minutes from there to work this morning - I checked.

So tired. The last thing I want to be right now.
