Live Journal Meetup at Anime-Expo

Color me *very* surprised.

I contacted the programming department at AX, just to be cordial and asked if I should clear any events I wanted to do with them. I was invited to see them last night in Con Ops after I registered.

Which I managed to do inside of 15 minutes. Shit you not. Prepaid registration is the ONLY way to go. No line. No kidding. And staff that knew this.

Programming offered me the Live Programming 1 room for two different slots, and LP3 for a third. 1,000 occupancy and 800 occupancy, all mine. I declined. Good grief. If 20 people show up, it'll amaze me.

So we decided on the fountains at the Hilton, 2:00 PM Saturday. They'll publish it and encouraged me to post signage, which I will do.

I'll see you there. I'll bring some badges for you to put your LJ handle on.

I see this morning a charge from our bank for $6.00 for non-member ATM useage.

That's $2 a pop that one of us used a non-WAMU ATM. Bad us.

And got charged $1.50 each time from the other side.

So, for the convenience of not going to WAMU, we have been charged $10.50. We just handed it over to this company we so adore.

Go check the dealer's room this weekend and see what you can get for $10.50. Maybe a t-shirt, a book or something. Lunch. Ice cream.
