And I splutted hundreds on NW last night and hope to have it finished before going to Japan.

But this morning, I have the weirdest ass sore throat on record. It's not sore because the tonsils have had enough, no - it's because all the nodes are so swollen they're making it hard for everything to move around them when I swallow. Nose is a little congested - but not clogged and ooky - if I could just get this throat thing finished up, I'd be done with this whole mess.

Time to rethink what has to be done around here today - Jim worked the full moon shift last night and needs to be handled gently today because he has to go back and do it all again tonight as well.

Tried to online shop for new clothes last night and gave it up. I really should get a couple of extra pairs of jeans and some shirts with collars. I've been living in jeans and t-shirts for waay too long.

Oh well.

Spring Fling is here folks - anyone needs shoes, say something now because I go shopping Tuesday! 50% off anything we have in the stores -

You are the Kitty Pounce! You're very playful, but
may get carried away too easily. But, you still
find it funny.

Which Amusing Animal Picture Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla

It's fekkin' 89 out.

Would someone please explain this to me?

I'm packing for a trip with thermal underwear and wool socks and it's hot enough to bake my brain outside.

Bah.

One of the things I noted on my LJ "parent" post was the number of people who responded who had been on LJ before the inception of the "invite codes" - and were still reading and participating. That's a long time, really. And people who have had to wade through the angst in the girly pants for that long, and still come back and read what I have to say - I think that says something, too. Something good.

So thanks. Stick around, I hope it gets even better.

Eysenck's Test Results
Extraversion (63%) moderately high which suggests you are talkative, optimistic, and sociable but possibly not very reflective.
Neuroticism (34%) moderately low which suggests you are relaxed, calm, secure, unemotional but possibly too unobservant of your feelings.
Psychoticism (36%) moderately low which suggests you are good natured, trusting, and helpful but possibly too much of a follower.

When it gets that hot outside, what does it do inside this house?

That's right. Almost ninety degrees in here.

So I open the back door and some windows. And discover I have some wonderful night-blooming jasmine growing in the backyard I didn't know about.

Wish I could bottle it - wowsers.

I'm waiting for the washer to finish up -

But something to consider when you hear me talking about marriage.

eHarmony.com wants to talk about matching you up. Jim and I just look at that and shake our heads. Poor kid actually tried a matchmaking service once; the only thing He says about the experience was that the women were "scary."

Scary. Crap, we met writing Ranma 1/2 fan ficton. And he says the dating service was scary.

Yeah, that's how I met Jim. Not in a chat room, not at the market. Not friend of a friend of a friend - when I met him, he was a 6 digit email address at hotmail. That's what he looked like. Not even a clue as to gender.

Match you up...blech. Good grief.

It's a cliche to say it just happens. It also happens to be true.

I am one lucky bitch. That's all I have to say right now.

Hmm.
