Anyone on my friends list who wishs to be nominated for membership in the [livejournal.com profile] project29 should ask me to do so. I haven't been able to do so for anyone yet, and I've had a blast so far doing it.

Just saying -

I am NOT watching Battlestar Galactica and American Chopper at the same time

Nope. Not gonna.

Jim's having a blast. "I hate commercials!"

So, he's flipping between the channels. He can. Be my guest.

Me, I'm going to be a meme sheep.

Graduated from high school in 1978.

What were your three favourite bands or musical artists? Barry Manilow, Stan Kenton and Styx.

What was your favourite outfit? Handkerchief-hem full skirt with a angel-wing blouse. Chances are, I'd be wearing a blouse with a pussycat collar. Go Google it up. I'll wait. (I'd love to see some of that stuff come back into style - the tunic tops and flare leg pants still look great, and they're comfortable in the bargain. The prints can stay in the vault, though. Ew.)

What was up with your hair? Shoulder-length, feathered if I had luck that day. Straight as a stick and looking like John Denver if I didn't.

Who were your best friends? Didn't have any.

Where did you work? Hemet Fast Print, Jack in the Box, Boll Weevil, Hemet Valley Hospital

What did you do after school? Went home, shut the door and wrote really awfully fun fan fiction.

Did you take the bus? Nope.

Who did you have a crush on? Two lovely blond burritos of manhood who have since come out of their respective closets. Yup. Gay. Both of 'em.

Did you fight with your parents? We did the dance of passive-aggression. Fighting is what Sis did.

Who did you have a celebrity crush on? Richard Chamberlain. And I might add I was the teenage Trekkie from hell - and this is LONG before Next Generation was in anyone's mind. Before any of the movies. LONG before.

Did you smoke cigarettes? ACHOO! No.

Did you lug all of your books around in your backpack because you were too nervous to find your locker? Would have killed for a backpack. I did carry a shitload of books around in my purse.

Did you have a 'clique'? No. Unless you count mine, which was a clique of one.

Did you have "The Max" like Zach Kelly and Slater? No, but I had Starsky & Hutch, does that count?

Admit it, were you popular? Not in the least, and I was glad of it. The popular people were STOOPID.

Who did you want to be just like? I wish I could have played the string instruments my friend Ron Hoffman did - but I never got a chance to even touch one.

What did you want to be when you grew up? An airline pilot and travel all over the world. Stewardess? No.

Where did you think you'd be at the age you are now? Just hitting my stride, and I'd have to say that's just about right.
