I may have some reservations about Schwarzenegger, but at least he's working without pay while the budget is all f*scked up.

You can't quibble about how a private organization pays its employees - but so help me, if they paid those parachutes out with taxpayer monies...there oughta be a law.

You can't pay to terminate an abortion with public funds? You can't pay out incentive bonuses either. Or, at least - you shouldn't be able to, neh?

Oh, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center? That's where I get all my care. Best care anywhere - and completely not-for-profit, foundation funded. With the same admissions criteria as the county hospitals. Matter of fact, when they are full, Cedars is where you go. Not UCLA. Not Santa Monica.

And still profitable. That's my hospital. I should send them an atta-boy.
