- Tue, 17:27: Good morning! Tuesday you say? It's MONDAY PART TWO just as nasty and twice as long. Honest.
- Tue, 17:29: Try this one on. Kid announces to us that his two worst nemeses at school brought cocaine yesterday. Described what he saw and yeah. Uh oh.
- Tue, 17:29: But - I have a kid who can best be called a smart bully. And these other kids? Get him in trouble. A lot. So - can I believe the story?
- Tue, 17:30: This is where my ability to decide that ends - because, drugs. In an elementary school. Zero tolerance. Guess what I get to do today.
- Tue, 17:31: I get to call the po-po in on a school of mostly brown kids because my bright little penny decided two of them brought cocaine to school.
- Tue, 17:32: I AM NOT HAPPY.
- Tue, 17:34: This is third grade, LAUSD and all the kids are POC - including mine. So yeah, text messages away and I am livid. Send me kittens.

Advent 2014 - Day 10
Dec. 10th, 2014 07:11 amMolasses Cookies!
"Today, go get yourself something good to eat. As you eat it, whether you made it or someone else did, think about all the hands that put it on your plate. The hands that harvested, grew, cooked, and packaged it. Think of those stranger’s hands. Pray for all the strangers' hands that move our world along."
Actually, go visit a "pay what you want" restaurant, give 'em a few bucks and some time. Google up the concept, it's pretty nifty.
The best example near me is Cafe Gratitude - but I'm sure you can find something near you as well.
Have some, if you need some.
Got some, pass it along. It's a privilege to have enough to share with others.
See you tomorrow!
