YAY INTARNET
Mar. 26th, 2006 04:16 pmI got spam from a cousin this afternoon. Now mind you, this is one of my gorgeous Danish/English cousins in Santa Barbara, who are *thinks* at least fifteen years older than I am - they're the leading edge of my generation, while I'm at the tail end of it. Their father is my mother's second-oldest brother, and he brough their mother home from England during WWII.
However, they were both alcoholics, and that marriage ended badly before I was born.
So - we never had a lot to do with each other. He remarried, and like a lot of cases, the new wife didn't like the kids (or the fact he might not have been such a great parent and they had "issues" coming from that, that the new wife wasn't privy to) - however, he had entered recovery at this point, and until the day he died at 59, was one of my favorite uncles.
It just tickles me that this cousin and I have so much in common, without really knowing each other very well.
She sent me an email with a link to a video -
And it's a wonderful motion study. Anyone doing AMVs? When I say I hear motion, this is the kind of thing I'm talking about.
Make sure you watch it all the way to the end - it's a McCartney tune, you can stand it.
