Well, it mooned me this morning and quit completely. I think the power supply is toast.
So.
Somehow, in the midst of a day where I really don't want to leave my desk, I have to go home, pack up the machine and take it to the shop. Time out of the office - easily two hours.
I *hate* being out of the office during normal working hours. LOATHE.
Yes, I can be called in during the weekend, I carry a cell phone and have a Special Laptop to dial in from home - but.
I like working during working hours. Working in personal business? In small bites. Between tasks. It gets to be most of my day, I resent being that Without Stuff To Do.
Seriously. I'm here to work. That's what I'm here for.
*grump* And I have to go pick up the CSA box too. And check the PO Box.
I'm very fortunate. I have an employer who doesn't bat an eye at this.
But I know it. And I'd rather be doing something Workish.
