Did I have to get my period on my birthday? Did I?!

*grumble*

[livejournal.com profile] ljsecretsanta03 is up for business - I should cross post that over at [livejournal.com profile] project29.

I am NOT seeing the Matrix for my birthday. I may *buy* something and watch it at home - but after the horrified gasps, and admonishments not to waste my birthday on it, I ain't gonna do it. From too many divergent sources. You get my drift, right?

I've been having so much fun today - I see someone else having a birthday, I'm adding them. I've been the only one with my birthday all my life - finding others stuck with this frigid excuse for celebration has been the nicest present all day.

I'm going to pick up the dry cleaning (which includes the wool blanket and duvet for the bed - w00t!), make a trip to IKEA and come up with a game plan for dinner tonight. Tempura sounds good. It's my birthday, and I'll fry if I want to.

Tomorrow - shopping in Cabizon. It will be a command performance.

I suck at shipping things, I'm sorry. Your gift is langushing awaiting your vist in slightly less than a month. If I'm smart I'll have your Christmas present ready too so I can send that home with you and that way it won't wait till Feburaray to get shipped.

If you don't want to see the Matrix on your birthday because you're afraid you might not like it, I understand. I think you should see it sometime though, because despite the whining from some people that it's the worst movie ever, the opposite from others, and the fact that the writing was (in my opinion)...imperfect in parts, I think Revolutions is a good movie.

Unless Reloaded left you without any interest in finishing the series, I think it's definitely worth watching the last one. It's not the best movie ever, but the whiners should think about all the different ways it could have been much, much worse. ;)

Anyway, now I'm getting redundant and stupid...I'm gonna' go reload myself. :\ Happy birthday! :)

Ouch

My friend [livejournal.com profile] bigbigtruck showed me Something Positive for the first time - that one, well...a leetle too close to reality, shall we say?

*winks* It'll be pounce time in a week. Problem there is, Jim's mother is coming for a two week Thanksgiving visit next Friday. It's holidays. Everyone's suffering.

Happy birthday, and yeah, I head about being on the rag on your birthday. I've had that happen once or twice. :(

Revolutions isn't that bad if you go into the theater with the lowest possible expectations, which is what I did, seeing how much I hated Reloaded. That definitely helped.

I might spend thanksgiving day with [livejournal.com profile] meta, I'm not sure yet... depends on how many others he invited over... I hate crowds. :(
