Bookcrossing Strikes AGAIN!
Oct. 29th, 2003 10:17 amThis week's SSM is going to be moved up from Sunday to this Friday evening, for reasons that will soon be apparent. BookCrosser Littlemave suggested in the Forum that we do a Halloween-related SSM, and I think it's a great idea. I know Halloween is a US-thing, but I bet even our international members can appreciate reading or crossing a scary story now and then. So, here's SSM7:
* RELEASE ZONE: Your front door
* RELEASE METHOD: "Scary" children's books given to one or more children in lieu of candy. (A paperback would be best - don't want to make their candy bag too heavy to carry.) A variation suggested in the forums would be to set out some scary adult books, too, for the parents who accompany their kids - if you do this, make sure that everyone knows they're not for kids!
* RELEASE TIME: Friday, October 31st, at nightfall wherever you live.
Oh, I can do this. Oh hellya.
