That's uncool - and unwarranted. Catch him on AIM if you can (I did this morning) - I have a long talk planned next Tuesday. Gotta be a glitch - LJ's been full of them today.

My livejournal is permanently deleted as of last night. Over the course of the last several months I've seen several arguments between people I care deeply about--violent, hateful arguments, motivated by the emotionless face that the Internet provides us. I can't read things like that anymore. I do have the reputation of being a drama hound, but when I know the people involved, and love them, it hurts me to read things like that, and I can no longer deal with it.

Secondly, I don't think it's right for me to play voyeur when lately I've given you so little of my own life. I want to talk to you personally, whether it be via telephone, e-mail, chat, or me meeting you physically, at a con or wherever. Having all of you on one convenient webpage is great, but a lot of the personality is gone, leaving me with nothing but a daily "Greggo's Friend Times." I want more than that. If I'm going to shake this phobia, I need contact. So I'm going to be more proactive in talking to you all, going and doing things with those of you who I can, and try to be more in the public eye by actually BEING in the public eye, not by publishing a blog on the intarweb.

So yeah, for some of you, this is the third journal deletion you've seen me go through, and I'm sure you're thinking drama drama drama, blah blah blah. This time it's different, though. It's gone for good, and you're just going to have to deal with me saying hello to you from time to time. And hey, you can talk to me anytime, too! You know where to find me, and if you don't, you know someone who does.

Thanks for passing that along! I admit I assumed it was another temporary deletion, and that he'd be back. Fortunately he's already on my AIM list, so I'll keep an eye peeled for him there.
