Hey George, Bake This!

After getting home, having dinner and picking up some stuff from the market - I got the following items baked and ready for the sale today:

3 batches of lemon bars
1 batch of brownies
1 apple pie
2 pumpkin pies (from scratch)
1 chocolate cake
1 vermont maple cake (from scratch

and a batch of white chocolate macadamia nut cookies.

Four baking waves, and I iced the cakes this morning. Thought I had mixes for the two chocolate cakes and one turned out to be brownies. Oh well.

Going to go get a shower and deliver the goods. According to Mapquest, she's only twenty minutes away. Yeah, and today the Long Beach Grand Prix starts.

(I'd bake for the bake sale, but with the kitchen in dire straits due to the stupid housemate downstairs, and the fact that I don't know what I'd bake, I couldn't have...)

I've baked entire meals from scratch, but the most I can bake at a time is a pie and a batch of cookies.

*preens* And they all turned out fabboo, which is just better than anything.

Some days, I can't boil water - but last night, nothing went wrong. Not to say I wasn't waiting for something to go wrong, mind....
