And then some!

Happy birthday to [livejournal.com profile] silverkun - you made it! It's the big three-O for the boy, go throw sporks. (It also looks like you're in good company - [livejournal.com profile] autographedcat is also having a birthday today!)

Due to LJ being constipated, no food logging has been done much of this week. Which is good, because the last three days have been total blowouts. Do not expect much change in this trend until Monday. Hopefully, will get more exercise before then.

[livejournal.com profile] bigbigtruck - I wonder what your old school pals would say about this translation of the Bible -

Mark 1:10-11

Authorized version: "And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him. And there came a voice from the heaven saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

New: "As he was climbing up the bank again, the sun shone through a gap in the clouds. At the same time a pigeon flew down and perched on him. Jesus took this as a sign that God's spirit was with him. A voice from overhead was heard saying, 'That's my boy! You're doing fine!'"

w00t, verily I say! w00t!

This is the organization who did the work - gotta love English nutters.

Jim was muttering something about "Daddy, Junior and the Spook" before leaving for work this morning -

[livejournal.com profile] reannon is building a Nanowrimo group for July. 500,000 words in 30 days - but the more I think about it, the more I think I'll be splitting that word count across three projects - 500,000 should be no problem. One novel? I'll keep thinking about it - but I have things already in the works that need attention first.

If you want to join in, go talk to her - the more, the merrier!

I made some damn fine steak on the BBQ last night. Wish the potatoes had gotten the message - BAH. And it's impossible to wreck salad.

And so I go, to ride the wild software yet again!

Whoa there!

50,000! 50,000! Not 500,000! That's something like 2,000 pages! That's "The Stand" and "IT" put together! Or the probable length of the next Harry Potter book! Aaag!

*panic over*

Come one, come all, it's only 1613 words per day. :)

This One sounds like a hybrid of the Unvarnished, the Oxford Inclusive, and one of the embarrassing "urban" paraphrases from the mid-nineties.

I must own it. Now.

I might, actually, but it's nonlinear... and LJing doesn't count!
