It's hot -
Jul. 18th, 2004 02:48 pmI've taken my own advice and napped most of the day - I'll do most of the tasks I've set for today after the sun has gone down and I can think straight again.
Right now, I'm glad I'm not made out of chocolate.
I am going to go out to dinner tonight. If I can find some vegetarian Chinese, that's the first choice. Second is Thai.
Jim is working today. Yesterday, the five of us went to the company's family picnic and the guys won three of the events - Alex went home with a Spuds McKenzie ice bucket and four matching glasses. I was most pleased - they had a blast.
And Mom called this morning to tell me again how much she appreciated being taken there.
*sigh*
Somebody, please make all those eBay things go away.
I am taking out a huuuge trash bag and putting stuff I haven't worn in a year in it. I am tired of having clean laundry sit on top of the dressers instead of in them
So there.
I am also taking apart one of the bookcases in the office and making it functional. So help me.
That, and some serious work for
julnawrimo. I promised.
But first, it has to get under 85 degrees.
