• Wed, 18:26: I don't miss coated photocopies. I don't miss tincture of green soap. Or enough air pollution my chest hurt from playing outside in it.
• Wed, 18:32: I miss the one hour dramatic format with a viewership large enough to compare notes with your checker at the supermarket. Anywhere.
• Wed, 18:34: I miss Top40 music on FM radio. I love - and fear - music only stations on satellite/cable. So very controlled, so very nice.
• Wed, 18:39: I am so much faster searching the internet than I ever was a card catalog at the library. Ratio of dross to gold, tho? Orders of magnitude.
• Wed, 18:42: The amount of pointedly focused rhetoric I see in the media today still surprises me. There's so many more channels now, you can do that.
• Wed, 18:44: When it was 3 channels on television, a few local stations, toss in PBS -you just didn't lean either direction. Room for all was the rule.
• Wed, 18:45: Is today more honest or more polarized? Scared and stupid, most of the time.

• Wed, 18:46: I miss getting letters and slam books in the mail. Ditto fanzines. ;)
• Wed, 18:47: I can only imagine what goes through my Mom's mind these days - twice my age, and her first response to anything new is 'let me try it.'

• Wed, 18:51: I remember Melanie Rawn always used green ballpoint pens to mark up stuff she edited. In protest, and because it looked like Vulcan blood.
• Wed, 18:59: Buy the tracks I want on iTunes or make a list to find them on CD used because I have some to trade in. That's something I didn't do ever.
