Did anyone else watch Cold Case on CBS last night and bawl all the way through it (particularly the end)?

The rest of life?

My MIL wants to completely redo my bathroom. The ONLY bathroom. Less than a week before Thanksgiving.

I barely got that done. (I've said NO to dismantling the tub because she wants to put a curtain up instead of keeping the sliding doors.)
I didn't get all of the Thanksgiving prep done.
The normal housework is behind.
And I have a DCFS inspection tomorrow.

You do the math.

This afternoon, I have to go get fingerprinted. Again.

There are landscapers at the house tearing (literally) limb from limb. And Terminix doing their schtick.

Please Lord, let me keep it all together.

Let anyone convince you to take out sliding doors. We miss having sliding doors to our tub, and if I ever get to own a house, every tub in my house will have one. They're just much more convenient than a stand alone curtain.

And you know what else? If you want to be really anal about shower curtains (or please someone who is) you can mount a shower curtain rod and situate it either inside or outside the sliding door: my mom did that in her own bathroom. It's a logistical pain in the butt, but as long as she's happy with it...
