Trump just riled up his white supremacist base before the election with his degrading bullhorn to “executive order” repeal the 14th amendment, which all mainstream constitutional law scholars say cannot actually happen. You need congressional approval. Possibly even a Supreme Court intervention. Well that greasy toadstool just filled TWO supreme court seats with crusty white supremacists, and if we can’t flip congress in a few days we all be screwed.
I hope everyone makes this legendary “blue wave” happen. But I want to pre-thank the black women in this country for organizing and rallying and getting out the vote in record numbers this election cycle. Also for running for public office in record numbers this election cycle. Also, black women are not only an oft overlooked (but POWERFUL) voting block for the democratic party, but they are also a powerful demographic of cultural change; at the forefront for innovation in music, dance, language, fashion, art, cooking–pretty much EVERYTHING.
So, thank you.
