I seem to have acquired a sore throat - I'm hoping from allergies.

Mom's going to have a procedure done this afternoon - and then they want to discharge.

Exactly what they plan to do, I'm not certain. But nothing sounds like the resolution to the original problem, and Mom doesn't want to go home until there is one. I'd have to agree.

But if I've caught something, I can't go in to see her.

This will truly bite the Big One if that's the case.

In other news, I'm frustrated and annoyed. Hullo, Wednesday.

Hullo!

The sore throat thing /sucks/. Happened again to me last night. It's the right time for allergies. What can you swallow in the interim?

It's not a bad one - I'd say a 2 out of a 1 to 10, 10 being worst scale.

Tea always makes things better. I'm blamming the weather - and the season.

..just enough to be an annoyance, my allergies. Yupyupyup.

Go to the pharmacy and try to get some Airborne. That stuff 'tis cool and IMHO works. It's all nifty and herbal too (I like the lemon lime).

I tried that stuff last year before going to Japan - the Tamiflu worked much better, but I still got sick WHILE on my trip overseas.
