So the first woman to be appointed to the Supreme Court has had enough. I remember when that happened, and it wasn't that long ago - but I think about her then, and I see the pictures now, and yes - it's time. Go ahead.

My friends list has erupted - as it well might. I wasn't expecting her resignation first -

But friends, the one thing that really pisses me off the most?

My email has been hit with every single group in Washington - with the exception of MoveOn.org - begging for money. PROTECT YOURSELF - send us money.

Guys, if I have extra, you can have some. If you want work, I can help out - just tell me when, where and what. But I haven't got money sitting around with your name on it. Sowwy.

It ought to be entertaining - what's to come.

And yes, I'm looking at options if this stops being the greatest nation in the world. That's very possible, considering.

They say Ms. Day-O'Connor has already left Washington. That was fast. I think I believe the story, that her husband has advanced Alzheimer's and she wants to care for him.

Re: the pleas for money? I must be on those same email lists. Even Common Dreams hit me up today. Maybe this is the first day of a new fiscal period or something?

The same thing happened to me. I signed moveon.org's petition and said "ha ha ha. Good luck with that" to the rest of my e-mail.
