Jim's off. I'm off. We had tickets for the King Tut exhibit at LACMA - been, done - and had incredibly expensive Todai food for dinner.

Now home. Tired. Go fwump now.

Jim has to get up tomorrow and work - I think I'm going to take it easy. Feel pretty burnt around the edges.

The exhibit was fantastic - but was also crowded, close and dark. NOT a place EK would have dug at all. Me, I read quick, looked at the items hard and got through the place as quick as humanly possible. It seemed to go on forever....

If you're into this stuff, go for it. My WTF was in the gift shop at the end. See's Candies have a special truffle assortment - and Tut on a stick chocolate suckers. Mummy goo. Tut shot glasses.

Pass.

Uh. Yeah. WTF is "mummy goo"?? Mummies are NOT "gooey". They are dry and dusty and, well, lots of other decidedly un-slimey things.
