The worst part is that we recruit, train and place people to do the work we're paying this contractor to do for them. And it's now very plain they could do it better, cheaper and safer. Themselves. What a concept.

The volunteer armed forces...

These 'volunteers' don't do KP, they don't clean their own quarters, they don't do windows.

Yea, we have the best 'fighting force' money can buy. Paid mercenaries, their only job is to 'defend', or kill, whatever the higher ups want.

I overheard a conversation between a couple of teenage boys, who could not wait till they could go to war, they were talking about how cool it would be to be in battle.

In a further conversation I found something amusing. They commented on how messed up their pastors families were. They said one had a son who they considered a pedophile, another had a daughter who used drugs. They wondered who chose these men to lead their church. Just some thoughts from the younger generation.
