Apparently, all the organs from the ribs down have been removed, so that she can have the uber-thin waist. To say nothing of the extremely unimportant, never actually visible organ above the neck.

Ok, somebody's marketing a female figurine in a sexy pose. By itself, honestly, not that big a deal, in my opinion.

The cleavage? Sure, that's a pretty typical aspect of an outfit these days, even for things which aren't overtly sexual. No big surprise, really.

Thong? In my opinion, rather silly, but it does seem to be pretty common fasion these days, so if they're going for sexy, not really unexpected.. I don't get the attraction personally, but whatever.

But she's bending over a wash-tub doing his laundry? With a big smile on her face? That alone would be downright offensive, but just the idea that this is not only presented as a reasonable pose, but a sexy one? What were these people thinking??

She's even barefoot. They probably would have made her pregnant too, if they didn't think it would decrease the fanboy drool factor...

I think stuff like this is thought out by comittee, and the content is ususally completely forgotten--somebody says, "thongs are popular" and somebody else says, "a referance to Spider man is important for the brand!" "cleavage, she's supposed to be sexy!", "Make her bend over like a varga pin up girl" and this and that, and eventually it's released and nobody caught that it was a humiliating sculpt of a popular comic/film character, and a pretty hard shot at women.

Or some guy in the licensing department could just be a complete teen wanker asshole.
