Sadly, if I ever do have to go back there, I will probably be with my mom, who is so phobic about heights that having me go to do this would be cruelty to her. (I have no idea how she ever let me and Dad go hangliding at Kitty Hawk.

Cool. I did that once, in the very same model bird he did... Nice. ('course, that particular bird is just your basic trainer, not a serious hot-rod sailplane... but it's still a nice ride. :)

I mean, it looks like I got several nearly full skeins of yarn there!

I wonder, though... do you think a multi-coloured, multi-textured (meaning I make it out of several different types of specialty yarn) would be useful/appreciated?

About the only caveat I can toss is that anything made has to be washable. Wool - unless it says so on the label - nearly always has to be dry cleaned only. Combine that with some fine old Red Heart and you have something that has to go to the cleaners every time Junior spits up.

I don't think there was any wool in that bunch of stuff though -

I like anything you make. You know what I did with the afghan you did bring me. (And it gets washed every week.)
