This morning, we had fog. It was thick, gray and moist.

It was wonderful.

... and wasn't full of smoke and stuff? That's good. The fog around here tends to trap all the smoke from wood stoves and such, and once it's been around a few days starts to really stink... but a good clean Irish mist? yeah. Nice.

We have lovely offshore breezes nearly all the time here. Most of the time, air quality is never an issue for that reason - everything that might be here, doesn't stay long.

Like now - the fog has nearly burned off, and while there is still some smoke in the air, the skies are getting much bluer than they were this time yesterday.

Fog was something I really missed while living in Sweden. Now I'm back in the north of Italy and I'm counting days! :)
