Last two days, I have been inundated. Yes, I've got good news. Yes, it's exciting as all giddy heck.

I'm one person. The last time I had this many to one ratio, was when I got married - and I eloped and only two people were at the wedding. Intentionally.

I am not trying to be short, or hold anything back - I'm trying to be fair, give you a listen and then I gotta go back to Stuff. Work is also hella busy right now too, and looks to get more so.

My weekend is booked. Next one, too. Before dealing with the work that HAS to be done surrounding the adoption. (We've got reorganization work to do that we've been putting off because there was no real need to do it...now, there is.)

Look for a Freecycle list soon. Seriously.

...and all the extra attention is creeping me out a bit. I'm not used to it.

No need to apologize... you just gotta do your thing!

And don't feel creeped out (if you can manage)... the thing is, for many people here, you guys have been shooting for this since day one of contact w/ your journal. Even those who tend to be quiet (like myself), still have followed this particular struggle along. We're just vicariously enjoying your victory on this. Plus, man, babies are EXCITING! ;) Most of us will go back to our lurking soon enough, I imagine....

I feel bad for repeating myself over and over (and then wondering if I told THIS person everything I told THAT person) and it all goes downhill.

Last night, ate dinner and fell asleep sitting up - and woke up when my cell phone rang and someone wanted to talk All About This again...and my brain just tilted and would not cooperate.

heh, yes, even good things can get exhausting to talk about after so many iterations! just take it at your own pace, and remember to savor it... it belongs to you guys (being the family involved) and no one else, share as you can and we'll all be delighted. =)

*shrug* It happens - it happened when we announced our impending adoption, and you better believe it happened all over again vis-a-vis the whole twins thing (and still trickles in - Meredith is bored silly with the story at this point - heck, she was a while back).
