kyburgNo, not really. I'm also not made of wood. Deal.
Things that may be contributing to the general grump:
1. It's July, nearing August and we still haven't got our case in the court system in Taiwan. What's holding things up? The employment verifications for Jim came by for re-sealing, and they need another one - and original, but not notarized - for me. Uh - still waiting for the originals to come back, by the way. July. Nearing August. AUGH.
2. Glad I didn't take that additional line of credit out against the house to do the rehab. Real estate is just taking a pounding right now - not expecting it to stay like that around here, mind - but. Glad I didn't have to provide a certified assessment of what the house is worth for the dossier, that's all I'm going to say. Can't even THINK about it again until after the beginning of the year. Any of it. *grump*
3. Game running better - except for the one lot I really need to play out, which BSODs on saving and exiting. Time to go back and start digging around the downloads folder. Crapcakes.
4. Jim has not felt well in weeks now - he's had either a string of migraines, or 700+ patients to shift alone at work, with the predicable results. Katamari has been very very good to him, though. I think he's ready for the sequel now....
5. I can believe it's been ten years. And at the same time, I can be pretty ticked that it's been ten years. Know me well, you know what I'm maundering about. And no, I didn't need to be poked with sharp sticks (unintentionally) this week over it.
I'm very nice. To nice people. Some days? I'm not. And on those days, I'm not sorry either.
I need pie. Something dark, bitter and takes a whole day to eat. Maybe I should schedule a mental health day - I certainly haven't been sick since the gut bug of 2007 and could use a break!
