I like how the exclamation mark in Yahoo! makes things sound inappropriately enthusiastic or asshole-ish when it probably doesn't mean to. For example:

"Does Yahoo! offer another free hosting service?

No, Yahoo! does not offer another free hosting service."

No, Yahoo! Get out, damn kids, it's not 1997 anymore!

And I remember when Yahoo! still used the stanford.edu domain; when it went dot-com, I had to fix a lot of bookmarks.

Yahoo's new improved service that they'll get you to pay for. Hrmm. Mind you I remember it before it was covered in ads and that horrid sliding bar thing... think I've still got a site over there actually, now I think on it..

Damn it! I thought it was another hoax since they're been rumored to close since 2001. I guess I have to go move the files I have stored there. This means I'm going to have to redo the html on my blog too since I host my background photos on geocities. And my LJ background pic too. This sucks!
