Xander has scarlett fever. Now, with extra special 'you've exposed all your friends, not to mention YOU'RE NEXT' -

Wow, it was great not to be sick for .. less than two weeks.

(And with a fever, Xander doesn't stop crying. Throat probably feels like it's scalded and it doesn't slow him down a bit. Sandbagger. Taking notes kid. Holy cow.)

Ugh.

I'm so very grateful for antibiotics so VERY often.

Good luck on everyone being well soon.

I remember scarlet fever. It wasn't fun. Thank God for antibiotics.

Ugh! Thankfully, it's something against which a number of antibiotics are totally affective now. If you get it, you won't be down for long.

Did some reading, it's a result of Xander being sensitive to the toxins produced by the strep bacteria. Go figure.

I thought it was a disease from long-long ago as well. Oh well, another day, another new thing learned.

I had scarlet fever when I was a kid (and I'm 27, so, not that long ago). I'd already read all the Little House on the Prairie books and was like, "oh no! I'll go blind like Mary!" but thanks to penicillin it was not so.

Anyway. People totally still get it!

Wow, poor all of y'all! Vanilla milkshakes and ice cream might soothe his throat a little.
