Yep, I've seen *this* at work before. Firsthand, actually, back in high school, and several times over (with various sects). I almost went "born-again" several times, but I let the effects wash over me until I could walk away (sort of a passive resistance sort of thing). And then once back at home (thank goodness for rational, supportive parents) I'd get back to normal.

Truly scary stuff, and all too true.
