More vintage - this time 2003 - This would probably make a good end-of-season offering, considering what I've been seeing in the farmer's markets lately. Peaches. Lots and lotsa peaches.

There is a stand in Julian that sells the best peaches this time of year. He buys them in Pearblossom (in the high desert on SR138). I've bought some most years, for as cheap as $1 a pound. Ripe, organic, and flavorful. I love peaches.

Truthfully, working sick is one heck of a way to ensure that you're going to be sick twice as long as you normally would, so I am glad you stayed home.

Regarding the no-empathy Aries thing. I know an Aries. She's a nurse. She's a DAMN DEDICATED nurse, one who has earned the praise of patients and co-workers alike.
