And it's the foxtrot.

After hearing Jim bark like a seal for a week - and then really not like what I heard trying to sleep Sunday night - I stopped listening to people say anything about being seen sometime later in the week.

I insisted Jim be seen by someone last night.

And he's got pneumonia.

While he's gone, kid starts running a fever - and when asked, reported a sore throat. This morning, he's got an 'owie in my ear' - so he's been seen as I write this.

But I'm not home. I'm the only one standing, and after one of the busiest days ever yesterday? I didn't dare try to work from home. Or not be at work at all.

*fidget* I can get there in 30 minutes. This just doesn't sit well anymore. Thought I'd earned my way out of it. Not so much.

Still getting things together for court - regardless of health status, Friday is IT - and Saturday is really pretty low impact, if you think about it. So I continue on with plans as they stand.

I want my lunch.

Of course! That is depndent on if I can drive though. My feet have turned into bowling balls, which is a little problematic for driving stick (I'm like Doraemon upside down). What time is the hearing?
