kyburg: (I got nothin')

Meet the man who picked up the little boy from the airport. He's very up-front, to the point - and this makes me all the madder.

Who would do this to a little kid. And the only thing I can think of is how I'd want a crack at helping him...and because of the circumstances surrounding the need for that help? I'll never even get a chance to ask.

I got nothing. Just - go get an education. I'll be here when you get back.

Thank you for sharing that link. He sounds like a caring person and the boy was lucky to have been met by him.

Hello. I'm here by way of [livejournal.com profile] betnoir and have really appreciated the opportunity to read about your experiences with adoption and your thoughts on this sad story. I would like to add your journal to my reading list if you wouldn't mind.

Thank you for sharing that link. I can't imagine making a call to arrange pickup like the poor kid was a UPS delivery.

Surely - as you will quickly find out, I really don't enjoy secrets. And I can be as blunt/sharp as a spork. ^^

I second this. At the end, when he says that he's depressed (and obsessively checking news items), my heart just goes out to him. That poor little boy. This poor man.

I wonder if he has any children of his own... he says he'd never felt that sense of paternal responsibility, so it doesn't sound like it.

From his story here, it sounds like Artem was very lucky to have been met by this driver. What a horrible thing to go through, when you do care about how your clients are doing,a nd clearly care about the little boy.
And he keeps saying how calm the boy was under very trying circs, how he kept trying to give his toys to people.

I think the boy was lucky to be met by a good man, a good driver. This story really moves me I just can't believe some people are venting their rage on the driver. He didn't do anything wrong.

I really hope this surreal experience brings some attention to what the little boy really needs.
